What one or two simple experiments to determine whether a solid white substance is a lipid or a carbohydrate. Also coudl one of you describe how changing the temperature or pH might affect the function of the enzyme in An Enzyme-Catalyzed Reaction. And the final thign i wanted to know was what is the answer to"Silica is a hard, glassy material that does not dissolve in water. Suppose sodium chloride is accidentally mixed with silica. Describe a way to remove the sodium chloride"?
 
I can give u a quick answer to the last question. Wash the sodium chloride residue from the silica glass with some water and a cloth! The NACL dissolves in water.
