sodium and adrenosteroids

So according to a table about minerals and their biochemical functions in one of my textbooks, one of the effects of sodium deficiency is lack of adrenal steroid hormones.

I thought it was the other way around?

I can't find anything on the net which says low salt = low adrenosteroids..?
