So where are

Execution is still legal in the UK for three crimes, but I think that's still private. The three crimes are treason, piracy, and arson in a naval shipyard.

I think that Arab Emirates too
oh, and North Korea (for sure, some emigrants were hanged. running away from NK is bad)

Are you sure? One of the prerequisites for entering the E.U. is the abolishment of the death penalty in the member country. I dont see how the UK could manage to keep theirs.

Also found this quote during a quick research:

"With the passage of the Human Rights Act in November 1998, the United Kingdom joined the ranks of 'fully abolitionist' countries."

Im not sure if your statement was sarcastic or not meant to be true, but i would be interested in seeing something to support your statement (not just to prove it but rather because i would be genuinely interested in how the UK managed to keep the death penalty after joining the EU).

Thanks

Latvia is in the EU and death sentence can still be applied during war time by a war tribunal. Under our criminal law.

EU just requests that the death penalty is put in a legal lymbo of non-application, i.e., that it is never applied even if the law allows it. That was left for special and exclusive cases. In Latvia that is war time, for example war criminals for slaughtering the civilian population, etc, in some other country that may be a serial child killer-canibal or something.

Publically starving people to death for the crime of being a retard is still practiced in the US.
I'd like to see that get beaten.
China starves children to death for being females, but they are locked away in special dieing rooms, so US wins for it being public and televised.

Those were abolished some years ago. The last crimes carrying death sentences- which could be passed under military law in time of law- were abolished when the Human Rights Act was passed.
