I just recently purchased a DELL laptop and am thinking about taking it back. Last Wedensday after work I turned it on and was having trouble with the touch pad. Windows had just updated the system files, so I'm thinking that it might have had something to do with that. Since then I haven't really had any problems. I'm not sure what to do. I have thirty days to return it to Best Buy, and seven are gone. I just don't want to get stuck with a lemon, but if it was just an isolated incodent, I hate to go back and get another one.
 
I would have taken it back an got something else.
 
Also look up the thread Laptops I had started. They mention some great points there.

It seems to be working fine now. I'm giving it another week and see if the problem arises again. I suspect it had something to do with those Windows updates that went into action when I started the computer that night.
 
Download glitches.
I have had those before. You wait cross your fingers an hope they don't come back.
