Hi all.
sorry that my first post is such a technical question. I am currently doing a number of trials to assess metal uptake by a number of plant species.
the problem i have encountered is that the metals in the growth media bind to the inside of the containers i use. I know that the simple solution to this problem is to use borosilicate glass in my trials but it will take a long time for me to receive these. is there any technique/protocol to silicatise the inside of my containers to reduce the possibility of this happening?
thanks in advance!
