Sikhs

I love the music of the Punjab.

Bhangra! Oh yeah!

Sikhs have a foothold in Indian history. One of their most famous Gurus was Guru Granth Sahib, who fought for the religious freedom of Hindus during the reign of a rather dastardly Muslim emperor by the name of Aurangzeb.

As a religion, it is definitely a dharmic religion and relates to Hinduism in many ways but the basic reduction was in the form of ritual, which they believed meant nothing - so they removed the Upanayanam (Hindu rite of passage) and the caste system, and other things. Pretty cool.
