I was always curious on the idea of UFOs hiding in thunderstorms. I mean really if you think about it, they're huge enough for a mothership to hide in. Last October there was a freak thunderstorm here in Colorado. I had a major headache all day long previous to it. It's almost as if i sensed the huge storm approaching all day long. I noticed when my dad came home he told me there was a big thunderstorm heading north. Whenever I stopped to look at the storm, the pain and the headache went away. Whenever I didnt look at it, the pain returned. Almost as if it were telling me to follow it.
Anyone else experience this?
Have you ever had a twitching muscle that stopped twitching when you stopped to look at it?
Your conscious/subconcious attention is causing the phenomena which you have experienced.
For example, in years past, I used to smoke marijuana. As a result of the focusing ability that comes with marijuana highs, I became able to think of any particular muscle group in my body and cause the resultant muscle twitching. I also managed to learn how to move my ears, flare my nose, and move my two eyes in independent directions!!!!! (A scary idea, I know)! I also managed to control my heart rate.
The point is that your body will react in ways that you are not normallly aware of.
That when you stopped looking at the cloud, your headache stopped, is not at all surprising. I have ulcers (bad), however when I am not thinking about it, I normally do not have as much pain. In other words, your subconscious mind has developed a preconceived idea of "pain", but forgets when your conscious mind goes about other tasks.
Regarding headaches & clouds, this is even more likely. Apprehension & stress, that you simply are not aware of, is causing the nerves in your head to become very active (stressed). This stress & tension results in the headaches, which you experience.
My advice is to become part of political action group to legalize the personal production & use of marijuana!
PS. If you get a bad case of hiccups some time in the future, then apply pressure on your wrist, by squeezing with the other hand (accu-pressure). Like accu-puncture, accu-pressure causes certain nerve interferences & conductions which affects other areas in the body, such as the GI tract.
