this is an rpg kind of thing like scifleet and solstice. it's 2030 and wwIII has broken out every country is at war with each other we only have the weapons we have now and you can be whatever you want exept the leader of a nation. detail is everything. i'll start.

background: razor was 28 years old a mercanary for hire when the war started. born in the u.s.a. razor had shiny brown hair and was in the special forces for 8 years then he decided to become a mercanary. armed with a m-110 sniper rifle and two .45 colts razor put a group of 5 men with him, all of who had previous military service records, two had m-110 sniper rifles too but the other three had AK-47s. soon though razor decided to rejoin the united states army and bring his elite team and all thier data on the other people with them.

arriving at the front command base razor looked aroundthe base was set up in an dusty clearing surrounded by trees on all sides exept for a narrow road about 10 feet away from the camp. the base it's self was composed of multiple desert camoflauge tents with 5 humvees carrying 50 cal. turrents on top of them scattered about razor coughed as the wind blew dust into his open mouth, spitting it out razor looked around and spotted his groups tent a small maybe 10x15 ft. moveing towards it his group went to settle in.

Background: Shogun is a scion of the Minamoto Clan ( an ancient Japanese nobility clan, they were the first Shoguns of Japan ), he was born in Kyoto, Japan. Heavily trained in martial arts such as Ninjutsu and Kung Fu, and the art of sword fighting, as well as sharpshooting and flying. 16 years old, he joined the Japanese Self Defense Forces to defend his homeland and to uphold his clan's honor. A brand new pilot, but because of his scores in the Academy he obtained the rank of Captain and command of the Yamato Squadron, a unit of top scoring rookie pilots.

you know shogun. I know I have no right to tell you what to do. But if your character starts out like an elite than what's the point?
So who's at war here? I think it should be US, Japan, and Europe on one side. Russia, China, and Asia on the other.
I think East Asia vs Europe vs North America
It is an ancient elite clan, but not anymore. Still prestigious and proud, but not nobility anymore.

Scratch my idea, it will be chaos to have characters fighting each other. I got an idea, the Warsaw pact regained their influenced. Africa is split between NATO sympathizers and Communists. Southern China spilit from the north and joined the Republic of China, fighting the Communist North along with South Korea and Japan......
Backstory of the war: North Korea invades South Korea. Taking the the country by surprise they captured it in six days. The U.N decided to act. America, Britain, France, Canada, Australia, and Italy responded. North Korea then signed a defensive pact with China. China, furious at what Japan had done during the Second World War sunk a Japanese assault carrier. Japan joined the Allies soon after. Vietnam allied with North Korea. A Coup De Ta was staged in Russia. The Communists had once again taken over. And the USSR was formed again. The Fourth Reich fired up the Wehrmacht and prepared for war. Their side in the conflict however, was undetermined.

The problem is that Japan doesnt actually have any aircraft carriers. It was one of the conditions of WW2. I could see them starting to build them during the conflict but they wouldnt have any before. At the beginning of the conflict nobody but the US would have the F/A-22 either. But they could have the F-35 or F-15.
I dunno about the fourth reich, I think that's a tad too far... I think Germany would be on the side of the "free" world because there is still some animosity for what Russia did during the cold war.

They're allied with you guys. Reich just means a time of economic power. Meaning that it's a time when Gemany is a world power.
Yah, but reich still has a bad conotation, I personally didnt know that and you saw my reaction when I first saw it. Actually, in all reality the US would have far more supercarriers than anyone else. I dont think there is anyone other than Russia that actually has a single one...
