Ah, you see; Typical Wishy-washy" political promises.
It's all "long-term solutions" and "wait a while".
On the other hand I have real solutions and some of them will be effective literally over night.
Education - everyone will learn either science, [ENC]sceince[/ENC] for the less able and [ENC]seance[/ENC] for the, um, lower end of the scale.
Stupid people will be executed, that will give an immediate rise in the average IQ of the country.
Gay marriage - again, I have to disagree with my esteemed opponent, but his policy is a half-measure. Gay marriage will be mandatory for ugly people. This will prevent them breeding and give us a better-looking nation. Already attractive people can do what they want.
Food prices - another "oh I will have to consider this",
. Food will be free.*Freedom of choice - you will have complete freedom of choice. Do as I say or leave. How much more choice do people need? Those who decide to leave will be given (free) a one-way ticket to [ENC]East Korea[/ENC] where they will be guaranteed employment and fulfilling new lives.
Gender equality - it's time that people realised that women have been held back. This is the 21st century and it's time to understand that some women are almost as good as human beings. Women, by law, will be allowed to decide when they do the ironing.
Taxes - taxes will be abolished completely. Why should you pay the government for earning your own wages?**
* but I will be instituting a nominal charge for citizens who breath.
** there will, unfortunately, be the introduction of Involuntary Serial Contributions, just to keep me and my cabinet in our accustomed lifestyle while we use the sweat of our brows leading the country.

1) we don't know there's actually anyone else out, but: I don't want to take the chance of them finding us. And if they are out you know they'll be much happier with us in charge.
2) aren't there bacteria on Mars? Who's currently regulating them? It's sloppy and I won't have it.
3) I don't like the way some those stars shine, all willy-nilly. They need to be organised better.
