Seriously though I don't vote for politicians, it's the policies that count not the politicians. If it was possible just to vote on policies, then that's where I'd be at.

No one ever asked me to state my policies, intentions or platform.
Looks like yet another case of people ascribing motives/ attitude/ beliefs to me on little to no information.
Story of my life.
Do you know how boring it to be asked for the 10th time "What's it like being a hitman/ gun-runner/ mercenary/ mass-murderer/ record producer*...?" simply because people make up their own stories about me and what I do/ have done/ intend to do?

*And before you ask: yes I have been accused of being every single one of those (plus others) at one more or points in my life.

You're kidding: a few years ago I was sent on a course to "learn" how to present a C.V. "properly" and how to behave in interviews.
The then-current thinking was that a "perfect" C.V. should be double-spaced, 14-point type face and no more than two sides of A4 paper: and should OBVIOUSLY start with the sentence "I am..." which summarised yourself.

I pointed out that, as an engineer, my career and achievements (all of which would be relevant to a potential employer) covered 4 sides of 10-point, single-spaced, and I left the "I am.." summary as just that for three weeks until told "complete that summary or else".
So I did:
"I am far too complicated and accomplished to summarise in a single sentence."
They weren't happy.

So if I can't summarise my (official) career in fewer than 4 sides of A4 what chance is there of giving anything like a realistic over-view of my life in five sentences?

PS: Oh, yeah, according to the instructors I also failed miserably at interview techniques.
They were correct: I was offered the job on the spot at the next two interviews I went to. Other people have to wait for a couple of weeks to find out whether they're acceptable or not.
