"Captains!" the head ref shouted, he was the captain of the ship,

Rico, Spades, Padre and Stefan walked up to the ref grasping each other's wrists. QB is not a captain...not today.

The ref explained what he would be emphasizing this match...and what fouls he would be looking for.

"Heads or tails?" the ref said pulling out a coin, "the Paladins get the pick,"

"Heads," Rico said,

The ref tossed the coin, it was tails,

"We want receive first kick," an opposing captain said,

"Good luck boys, play clean, play hard," the ref said, and the captains shook hands and went to their respective sidelines...their team made a tunnel for them and they did their football cheer.

Rico then shouted before going on the field...

"Clear Eyes, Full Hearts, Can't Lost!"

The team echoed them and their kickoff team ran to their positions with a cheering crowd in the background...

One of the spirit walkers took Sutori to a null zone, basically like a big old sand box and that's where the others live. Including Sutori there is a total of eight. He's getting the grand tour I guess.
 
Their QB is kicking...he played kicker in college after all. As the kickoff team gunned down the ball, the other team's returner...a smaller man caught the ball, but it was his unlucky day, Rico was closing in fast, their returner tried to juke Rico out, but Rico grabbed his shoulder pads and slammed him into the ground at the 30 yard line.
 
OOC: I'm obviously not going play by play, but I'm trying to judge when you'll be done the tour...so can you give me a range?
 
Oh lol, bomb goes off after we get off the ship and get into the city, which is within safe distance.
 
Omega looked out at the fleet of enemy ships. Formidable, yet beatable.

"Sir, we're surrounded."

Omega looked around. "Hold steady."

"Enemy ships powering weapons!"

"Prepare for combat!" Omega rushed to the command chair.

It was at that moment the voice yelled out stop.

After listening to the conversation Omega replied. "Look, from what i've been told SciFleet is part of the Union. I guess that's where our stance is. Now let's all just calm down."

OUT OF GAME: Cera is Shogun's girl right? Or was that someone else? I completely forgot.
 
Out of Game: Cera is Shogun's girl and Cecilia is Shogun's younger sister. Shogun is missing though, he was actually mind wiped by the Holians and got false memories and identity as this "Rico" person, who is now fighting for the Holians. Cera is on her way looking for my guy :D
 
"We are actually not here for that," Cera said, "they are, but we aren't, we just stopped by because we needed fuel and supplies for a long trip,"

Cecilia then said sadly, "long story short, Shogun was captured by the Holians,"

On the Aggressor...

The Russian officer stormed into the bridge and shouted angrily,

"Omega, what do you think you are doing? Kill those damn Vichi bastards,"

On the Amaterasu...

"Oh fuck, its him!" Admiral Lokke shouted,
 
"Alright, tour is over. Here, this is your room." Three said,

Sutori opened the door and there was a brick wall. "Your kidding right?" he said

"Nope, have fun." she said and walked away laughing. "Oh yeah, don't tell anyone what you find inside."

"Pffft, why can't this ever be easy?" Sutori said inspecting the wall.

He tried to phase through it, but when he went through it just reflected him back into the corridor. "Okay, how do I get in?" Sutori muttered while looking at it.

As if answering the question several of the bricks melted into each other and formed a black marble block, and as it formed words appeared.

They follow and they lead, but only as you pass

Their Quarterback went into a shotgun position...big mistake, because they forgot who they were facing, the Tarsonis Naval Flight Paladins. Spades and Stefan destroyed their O-line. A hole was opened straight towards their QB, Rico and Padre bull rushed the Quarterback while the rest of the Paladin defense went on pass coverage, buying time for them. A fullback was in the way, defending their QB, Rico got lower and sprinted faster, and with all his might, he trucked the fullback, leaving Padre with a clear sack...it was the first series and it was 3 & 16...it was a punt play next without doubt...

"Hey I just wanted to introduce myself, I'm Sutori" Sutori said to the man in his late twenties.

"I'm one." he replied shaking his hand

"So do you go by a different name?" Sutori asked

"Look, eight, I appreciate what your doing. But names hold power here and in the world your a part of. You should know that, especially considering yours." he replied

"Wait you know its a fake?" Sutori replied

"Yes, we all know. Although we don't know your real one and you should keep it that way." he said

Sutori was stunned to silence.

"Also, don't bother asking about the riddle." he said

"Wait you knew about that?" Sutori asked

"Look, Sutori, Three mentioned to you that we all have abilities. Its a combination of your destiny and who you are. Mine is that I can see into the future, I can feel the strands of the universe, pulling and tugging. Cause and effect. But its limited, I knew about the riddle you see. But I don't know what it is." One said

"Umm, alright." Sutori replied awkwardly
 
The other team tried to fake the punt, but they made a big mistake, the punter tucked the ball in prematurely...Rico saw that and charged at the punter. He got his hands on the ball and ripped it out of the punter's hands and nailed him hard. It was an easy touchdown, it was a clear run to the endzone.

"Touchdown Paladins!" Rico shouted as he front flipped into the endzone. He then bicycle kicked the ball through the uprights. The crowds roared in cheer.

The refs talked among themselves and declared,

"Number 45, Red, unsportsmenlike conduct, no touchdown and 15 yard penalty..."

Oh shit...he forgot, he always got flagged for excessive celebration his freshmen year...

They were 20 yards from the goal line...Rico called a freak play. The QB handed him the ball and rushed downfield, Rico drew all the defense towards him. He juke out some of the defenders and smashed the others, he then threw a clean pass the to Quarterback...it was a touchdown. No flag this time...
 
"Its time you headed back." Grace said

"Finally, that riddle is insane." Sutori replied "So how do we get back?"

"I take you back." she said

"Wait can't I just get back on my own?" he said

"When you get into your room you will, but not yet." she said

She grabbed his hand in hers and they both vanished from the dream world.
 
"Hut!"

The Quarterback handed the ball off to Rico, everyone available is blocking...including the QB. Rico ran a sweep, Padre cracked the cornerback, every defender that is on their feet rushed towards Rico. A safety and corner dove right for him, he jumped and rolled over their backs. Two linebackers rushed at him, Rico got low and sped up towards the linebackers, he got lower...lower...then popped up explosively, knocking down the linebackers, the free safety...the last line of defense ran right towards him, he was fast, Rico pretended that he was a hurdle and jumped over the safety and dove, scoring the final touchdown...

They won...they won...they beat five teams to get here, and they savored the moment. To be realistic, they could have did the victory formation and their QB could have taken a knee...they were winning 30-17 after all, but it is not Rico's style, he had to cap the tournament with a final touchdown. He admit though, the other team was good...they scored two touchdowns and a field goal against him.

They shook hands with their opponents, then Rico and his team received their rings from the Captain of the ship...it would be a good souvenir for this mission...

He waved at the crowd, and saw Audrey among them.
