Scientific Explanation of UFOs

Yuck and double-yuck!! Good thing you posted this garbage under pseudoscience of else it may have wound up directly in the Cesspool were it really belongs anyway! :bugeye:

I was watching an old movie about Louis Pasteur yesterday. When he said that disease is caused by little animals so small you can't see them, they laughed and laughed at him. Later the mircroscope revealed germs.
Pasteur made this statement: No scientific step is taken without opposition.
How true.

pasteur is full of shit
what up with the sloganeering anyways?

poetic?
pattern recognition?
appeal to authority?
win 10 iq points?

You are entitled to delude yourself with any garbage of your choosing - it has nothing to do with a "scientific step" and everything to do with ignoring perfectly valid evidence to the contrary.

"Psychotronic generators" have NEVER been shown to cause anything except separating people from their money; the so-called "Kirlian Photography" has been debunked probably at least once for every single month you've been alive...

Shall I go on?

No need for you to go on.

Still a man hears what he wants to hear and disregards the rest.

Some so called scientific academics seem to make a religion out of being skeptical. I will advise that being overly skeptical can prevent someone from finding the truth, just as easily as not being skeptical enough.

I opened the page. I saw "Kirlian Photography" and "Auras" under Background Information And Theory. I closed the page. I suspect there is a good reason why this hasn't made it to any science books.

I'm not the one who's deluded here. And for rebuttals, the best you seem to be able to do is quote lines from a song and other people.

Also, I strongly advise you to heed the advice Einstien offered in your quote above and realize that the things you are claiming in this thread HAVE already been investigated and found seriously wanting. They've been clearly shown to be bad science at it's very worst.

Me too, except I went just a bit deeper and saw that some of it had been "explained to people by aliens" while they were being held after having been abducted!!!! Sheesh!

I will never, ever understand how some people can be so foolish as to believe ANY of this junk! :bugeye:

It is not possible to be over-skeptical, or unde-skeptical. The former is akin to blindness, the latter to gullibility.
Being skeptical means saying 'show me'; 'give me the evidence'. Once the evidence is provided, of sufficient quality and quantity, and is validated, then the need for skepticism is removed.

The claims have been investigated. They are unfounded. Condemnation is the only viable response.
