yes. i think he should've been wearing one. it's really foolish to not wear one. if you've ever seen someone go through the windshield, you'd agree.

i'm concerned that this will have the opposite effect: that people (jackasses?) will try and duplicate his "stunt".

Haha, call it natural selection. I say we take the safety labels off of everything, and just let everything take care of itself. We'll be a stronger species because of it.
 
All in all I woulda concidered that a good day. Not every day you get to pull an action stunt like that!

Agreed, if I ever get into a car wreck, I hope that that's generaly how it goes, even better if someone catches it on video.
