Ruzzle/Riddle Thread

Well, the quilty party is the person lying on the floor. What he is guilty off i do not know. But the one that the police arrests is the person lying on the floor.

That is my guess.

Danny (any of the three persons) is pointing a gun at a burglar, he tells the bruglar to lie on the floor. Someone tells Danny not to shoot, and he does not. The police officer comes and arrests the man lying on the floor.

Read what the riddle says. Look at what each person does. The cop comes in and makes an arrest without hesitation..there must be something which absolutely and undoubtably shows the criminal so that the (stupid) cop in a splinter of a second knows who is the killer

The word "engineer" is derived from the Latin "ingeniarius," and was molded into old English as "engyneour." The old French, "enginier," meaning "one who makes or uses a war engine," refers to catapults, floating bridges, and assault towers ....he was shot with a catapult?
Two had no arms?
Two were dead and standing?
Two were covered in blood being close the third wasnt?
One was a part time parachute packer (No Danny dont SHUTE)?
The person was a doctor also a preist also an engineer ie only one other person?
Engineers over specify everything was he shot with a ICBM?

Just dicking about havn,t got it......yet!
Enjoying the questions though

erm.. the doctor is not trying to save the shot man? he's not even checking the pulse or anything. If he weren't the killer, then he would? So I'd say he arrests the doctor.

Next puzzle:

A woman wakes up and sees a dead body next to her. She knows she will die soon too. Why?

>>>e runs in the home finding a priest, an enginier, and a doctor standing over the body.<<<

I got it? cool

The good answer must be the minimal number of testers thus the answer cannot be 10. The poster who will argue the lowest number of testers necessary to point out the poisonned bottle will win this puzzle and save George.
One. She takes a sip from each bottle every 5 minutes, which takes 50 minutes to tastwe all. We now wait until she dies. If she died in the 3rd 5 minute span, for instance, it was the 3rd bottle etc. I didn'y peek at any answer.

This is similr to the Tax Time in the Kingdome. !0 Princes must pay taxes in sacks of gold coin, each coin weighing 10 ounces. The Princes are lined up with their bags just as a King's spy runs up and whispers that one of the Princes has shaved one ounce of gold from each coin. Before he could name the guilty Prince an arrow entered the spy's neck killing him without further words. There is a penny weighing machine in the Kingdom and only one penny. Put a penny in the slot and the weight comes out stamped on a piece of paper, How does he determine which Prince is shaving coins in one weighing?

geistkiesel, i guess you win.

Unless i can make it 0. George forces that evil french guy to drink first! If he drinks then george knows he can drink too. :D

Geistkiesel:
Take one coin from the first Prince's sack, two from the second, etc. When you weigh the coins, the number of ounces short of the correct total weight is the number of the prince who has been shaving the coins.

Thomo:
63+42=105

(((1^10)^4)^5)^6+2=3

edit I see 1 twice now...

adjusted
:

((1^40)^5)^6+2=3
