Resources For Learning About The Jewish People and Judaism

I have a question. Does being Jewish mean you need to be of the Hebrew bloodline and practice Judaism or can you still be considered a Jew if you come from outside the bloodline and want to convert to Judaism?

I just wanted to share that I love and care about the Jewish people. When I was growing up and I was a young teenager I had a good Jewish friend and we lived near each other and we hung out a lot and we got along very well too. When I started college I fell out of touch with most of my friends including my Jewish friend unfortunately because I was so busy with work and school. I am comfortable with being Roman Catholic right now so I am not looking to convert to Judaism anytime soon.

Sorry about the last two posts, they were obsessive posts. I had to break up a previous comment I made in to two parts because I was obsessing about that comment. Thank you! I will try to limit obsessive posts like those two.

I wanted to apologize for my several obsessive posts. I think I have things under control now. Thank you!

I just wanted to add that I have obsessive compulsive disorder and I am sorry for the multiple obsessive posts about my race and religion. I will try to cut the number of redundant and obsessive posts to a minimum for now on. To sum things up concerning my race I am a German, Polish, Irish, and Russian American. To sum things up concerning my religion I am Roman Catholic. I have shown some interest in the Jewish people and Judaism throughout some posts. I love, respect, value, and care about the Jewish people and Judaism. Thank you my friends!
