Reference Materials

Looking for good, College level texts with genetics information in it.

Any suggestions?

(sorry if this is rethread).

FTR : I am a chemical engineer by degree, I am just interested in the science of genetics as a hobby. (Something new to geek out to...)

But I can not stand books that gloss over a subject, I want in depth. I am hoping some people here are Majors, or Degrees with a knowledge of well written books (Even a list of books to avoid isn't a bad starting point. )
