It just goes to show that the economic justifications for being against immigration in the UK are simply not being put forward by businesses, but by those who in reality, are really concerned about the social implications of immigration.
Multiculturalism isn't some kind of experiment, its simply a fact of life when people from different backrounds live together, and influence one another. British food has changed completely. Segregation would be the opposite..
Its' not like "Muslim-only" TV or "Hindu-only" TV is designed to specifically exclude people. There are channels that cater for an audience interested in such culture, such as Muslims & Hindus. In the same way that SciFi Channel caters for SciFi fans, or Sky Sports caters for Sports fans.
Although I dont know what "Black-only" TV he was reffering to, one of the MTV stations?

This article warns about the dangers of segregation with regard to community relationships. (Strange that you post an artice quoting Trevor Phillips from the CRE, usually people like you despise him and theer organisation). I used to live in Birmingham, where people from different groups often work together in the city, but live apart in their communities. Separation leads to unfamiliarity, and then suspicion of one other. Unfortunately whenever something "happens" like your second article, it is held up as the "norm" by those wanting to exploit it.

A student paper in Britain that ran the Danish cartoons got pulped. A London magazine withdrew the cartoons from its website after the British police informed the editor they could not protect him, his staff, or his offices from attack.
This happened only days before the police provided 500 officers to protect a “peaceful” Muslim protest in Trafalgar Square.
It seems the British police — who regularly provide protection for mosques (as they did after the 7/7 bombs) — were unable to send even one policeman to protect an organ of free speech.
At the notorious London protests, Islamists were allowed to incite murder and bloodshed on the streets, but a passer-by objecting to these displays was threatened with detention for making trouble.

Does this example not show you why racism is wrong? You feel hurt becasue people will judge you on the colour of your skin, and attack you regardless of what type of person you are.
I've met my share of Black & Asian racists. Racists exists in all forms, this is just another example. Your implication that all Asians hold these views is in itself racist. How convoluted.

Many openly admit to carrying out what they see as revenge attacks on white people as part of a tit-for-tat campaign.
One told us: "There are signs all around saying whites enter at your risk. It's a matter of revenge. It's about giving as good as you can take."
Another had a six-inch scar running across his head. He said he had been attacked by a white gang.
"I got slashed by some whites so that I'm totally racist. I don't like whites. It's like this now, we go to a white area and we get done over. It's like them coming here they get done over...it's for your own good."
This hardening in attitude is repeated across the town and has passed down to children as young as 10. Unlike their parents they will not tolerate being victims of racism.
Local white people are scared and many want to leave the estates but cannot.
"I was just walking with my dog around 10 at night and a group of Asian youths in their car, music blaring,threatening me like saying they'd kick me head in calling me white bastard, white scum. You're frightened," one person told me.
Many Asian youths say they take the law into their own hands because they have no confidence in the police.
The perception is that the police do not take racist attacks on Asian people as seriously as assualts on white residents.
Akbor Khan had his three front teeth smashed in a brutal attack by a white gang:
"I used to have a take away in Manchester. We used to get lots of people who used to order food but not pay for it. It used to take the police an hour to get there. We'd ring the police and they'd say we haven't got the manpower. But if it happened to white people they would be there in 10 minutes," he said.
Many Asian community leaders say the trouble is caused by a minority stoking up problems for the majority, who are law abiding residents.
They say they would happily support greater police action to clamp down on the trouble makers.
Greater Manchester Police deny the accusations levelled at them.
A special multi-agency task force has been set up in Oldham to tackle the growing number of racist attacks

He probably got banned for the same reason that there is free speech for some and not others - similar to this country I live in.
