That is not correct. Muslims are always condemning terrorism and all the rest of it. We’ve been doing it for years now, when it comes to terrorism its impossible to sit on the fence. After the 7/7 attacks religious leaders from around the World passed a fatwa stating that the bombers were not martyrs. All the Muslim organisations here condemned the attacks, the all called on Muslims to help combat extremism.

The media here hasn’t helped, they keep giving extremists platforms, they are the ones that help spread their message while further demonising the Muslim communities. Those extremists (Bakri, Choudary etc.) do not represent Muslims. Extremists control no Mosques in the UK, the thing is extremists have been driven underground. Extremists make up a small minority so they obviously hide themselves amongst the peaceful majority.

I’ve been going to Mosque for years and I’ve never heard any terrorist threats or any sort of extremism. That sort of stuff doesn’t happen in British Mosques. My own brother just missed the 7/7 bombings, I have always taken a stand against terrorism/extremism, I will always stand firmly against it.

I take it your inference to "you lot" means all muslims....

usually when you denounce an action you denounce who perpertrated it also.

As for salman rushdie i have not read his book so i cant pass an opinion so thats one muslim who is not ou to kill Rushdie

usually they are dead by the time we know they are terrorists..... if you are caught of planning to commit terrorist acts then it is the duty of the muslim to report this perosn to the authorities.

Of course muslims dont liek terrorism, do you think i would be pleased if my mum was on a tube which got blown up last year.. or do you think ghost would have been ok if his brother had been a victiim of the 7/7 bombings

If i knew i would have said but i asked you, as you seem to think that the police would do something about it if i told them of someone i thought was an extermist/terrorist....

this is a person who says that the 7/7 bombers were justified and are martyrs and there should be more people like them etc..., he also says that it is the duty of a muslim not to tell the police if another muslim was plotting a terrorist act etc....

So Stu please tell me why they have not banged this guy away before you start preaching to me about muslims not doing enough to combat terrorism
