I agree that it is an evil deed if anyone dictates to someone else what religion they should adhere to.

Freedom of choice is mankinds right - but it doesn't have the right to inflict their views and attitudes on other fellow humans.

You have made me think about the films of the horrors of the middle east and what the media have turned it in to. I can only speculate what the media would have done if the same technology was available for newscasters during the Second World War.

Their was historic underinvestment in the NHS during the 80s and 90s, this underspending is ‘grossly underestimated’ it has led to a high proportion of the extra investment in the health service since 2002 being spent compensating for previous funding shortages.

When did I say that? I said this country needs immigrants and cannot afford to have Asians, Blacks (Muslims, Sikhs, Hindus etc.) leave the country. There are some serious issues facing Britain (the NHS, public transport, pension crisis, binge drinking, yob culture etc.) everyone knows that. Blaming all these ills on immigrants and 'foreigners' is childish and silly.

In maybe ten years from now this land will be dominated by Islam and shariah law will be in a strong hold over it - unless something is done about it now, even so, I think it's already too late. When this happens, the victims of all this will be people just like you. It wont bother me at all really by then, I'll have other and bigger things to worry about.

I am British, the old man settled here in the 70s and I was born here in 85. I have spent all my life here. Everything about me is English, my accent, the way I dress, the food I eat - popular culture etc.

You are right - Although I would tend to think that the Americans have had similar problems with the Mexicans and Puerto Ricans. They are the equivalent of Pakis in the UK.

Anyway I just want to briefly explain to you that the word "paki" is short for for pakistani!. I'm not sure how long you been living in england since you immigrated here but these are common forms of abbreviations used amongst the south asian folks particularly in densely populated london towns like alperton,wembley,southhall etc.

Many pakistani's refer to themselves as paki's in most communities in england and other countries.
I have alot of pakistani friends I called paki's and they call each other the same as well. Sometimes I call em taliban and they still like it.

So if you need any further clarification on this terminology I will be happy to explain it to you.

thank you for posting the information on paki - i always thought paki meant pure, which makes it quite ironic how in my opinion Paki is used only as derogratory comment.

I was born in britian - Kingston upon Thames to be precise, my dad had come over in 1960's from maurtius, and met and married my mum who is english through and through... I am actually a half caste, so it kinda annoys me when people say that they support the BNP who want to enforce the policy of sending the immigrants back...

Now even though i dont look white i hardly look like someone from Pakistan either, but i have been called an F***** paki on numerous occasion when i was young and as it was used in an insulting manner against me i have always thought that it was meant to be insulting.

I dont have any pakistani friends at the moment ( i used to a uni) I never called any of them paki and i dont recall them calling each other paki either.

what vexes me is that some people want to send all immigrants back "home" i just cant undertand this as i contribute through taxes only quite a lot to the treasury, and so has my family. I have never taken anuything off the state apart from when i need to goto the doctors etc... i love my country and my british culture.. their is no way i can live anywhere else at the moment.... It will be very hard for me to even get a Mauritius nationality so i doubt i would be able to live there, that is if i even thought i could live there. You see Mauritus is nice for holidays but i could not live there as their culture is completely different to mine. of course economic migrants who come to england to drain the state should be cut out, but not the guys who come here to genuinely contribute and make a lfie for themselves.

I said maurtius was a UN reference for good race relations, whats that got to do with me not wanting to live there, mauritian culture is made up of several cultures.. I dont understand where you are coming from here, are you saying that multicultural countries have the same culture or what? I dont get it?
