question; allergies to protein, how ?

how does one become allergic to what the body and brain is made of ?

the body needs protein

peanuts for example are a protein , yet people are allergic to it

it makes no sense for the body and mind to be allergic to peanuts

whats the problem here ?

Protein is a overall label for a particular type of complex organic molecule. There is not just one thing called protein, there are many different type of proteins.
There are even proteins that are toxic to the human body. And certain people can be allergic to some proteins that others are not.
Peanut are not protein, rather they contain proteins that the body can use. Some people just happen to be allergic to a certain protein in peanuts. That doesn't make them allergic to "protein", just a certain one.

1 There are protein in peanuts , there is fate , there are some lipoprotein there are purine and pyridine there are some flavonoids and catechins ,-- the last ones might be allergens to some people .
so it is hard pin down what is an allergen to whom. I am allergic to some foods . dog hair , but the dog hair is a carrier of an allergen , sulfide is an other allergen , but sulfate is not ( at least to me )
