(1) Does that mean you are just a proud man who happens to be a muslim? If thats the case then good for you.
(2) Or does it mean that you are proud for being a Muslim? Now this I would like to clarify. What about being a muslim are you being proud of?
For at best muslim values are as practical everybody’s. Muslim history is not much different with Christianity in terms of violence, bigotry & aggression. Islamic faith is just as blind & unfounded as any other religion. The quran is just as contradictory as any other religious text.
At worst some muslim values are plain old barbaric. Like the killing of apostates, its intolerance on other faiths, its oppression on women, etc. And presently Islam is bad news in every region of the planet. Muslim extremists & terrorists can be found around the globe.
(3) Or you are not really proud of anything but just putting on a hopeful mask in front of everybody else.
