Proof that miracles happen

Today, 2nd June 2017, my sister and her friend visited me at my house, just after breakfast. I wasn't expecting this to happen, but it did and we chatted about various things for about two hours. The topics included, computer games, our children, terrorism, gardening and holidays.

If you asked me to write down now, exactly what was said by each person in the correct order without any errors, I would have to tell you that it is impossible. I couldn't even quote one saying accurately and with confidence.

In the Old Testament, we are told that Moses spent several days up a mountain talking to God with nobody else present. The conversation was accurately reported and occupies several chapters.

Historians have estimated that the story was composed in Jerusalem in the 7th century BC.
According to one Biblical timeline, Moses received the Ten Commandments up the mountain in 1446 BC.

Assuming these times are anywhere near to the truth, then the very long conversation between God and Moses was written down several centuries after it occurred, very accurately and completely.

In my opinion, this was impossible for a human being. It must therefore be a miracle.

On the other hand, I found a website, that quite happily dates the Jurassic to no earlier than 10th August 1750.

You omit the glaringly obvious alternative that it is all invented. You should read about Occam's razor.

Another thing the torah first was the oral torah than letter in time was printed . Think when writing started on papyrus or on leather . Separate your self in time , don't think with present mind about the past.

Why would you assume that it was written down accurately or completely?

Non-violence makes you safe, and the omnipresent faithful nature is omniscient.

Agree.

This:
In my opinion, this was impossible for a human being. It must therefore be a miracle.
commits the false dichotomy fallacy: the assertion there are only two explanations to choose from.

(Though, frankly, if I read TG's posts correctly, he's a skeptic. So not telling him anything he doesn't already know)
