Post a Cool Picture

no boat parking, difficult to go naked in your backyard..

And i wonder what storm season is like there..

Now that you mention storms, what about a tsunami? You have to know one will happen sooner or later right? So expensive neighborhood Russian roulette. What a way to gamble.:D

That's Dubai, in the United Arab Emerites,so I don't think there's that much backyard nudity.

It's on the backside of the Arabian Gulf, and is pretty much tsunami proof. There's no deep water around. And they don't get much in the way of bad weather.

I think many of those multimillion dollar houses are being sold to foreigners who might not be opposed to some nudity.

If the tsunami is big enough it will wrap around the land and hit that spot. But I will concede the peoples odds are much better than Russian roulette.:D

being a contractor..(well ex-contractor thanks to the economy) i have to wonder about the foundation..i hope there is more than just sand there...

i would not pay alot of money for that property..too many unknowns..

Over 80 percent of those houses are not being lived in. They were bought only for speculators who are holding them until they can make a large profit, wheneve that will happen no one really knows. I've heard only the workers that built them live in some of the homes only to help keep them up.

That place is an abomination. Yeah most of the plans will never be built (bankruptcies), the country uses slavery and the weather sucks big time...

Give me a backyard in Appalachia any day over this...

P.S.:

This is the place where a woman was jailed for kissing on the beach...

There's also a huge rate of unoccupied hotels and failing high end resturants.

It looks neat on Google Earth though.

I wonder why there is always a pretty swimming pool when we think about a perfect and happy summer.

Nice shot. How does a photographer ever get a picture like that? Hell I didn't think Dubai even had cloudy days, and when they do open up like that it's usually only for a very short time.
