Islam is the only non-Christian faith, which makes it an article of faith to believe in Jesus (pbuh). No Muslim is a Muslim if he does not believe in Jesus (pbuh).

(ii)
We believe that he was one of the mightiest Messengers of Allah (swt).

(iii)
We believe that he was born miraculously, without any male intervention, which many modern day Christians do not believe.

(iv)
We believe he was the Messiah translated Christ (pbuh).


(v)
We believe that he gave life to the dead with God’s permission.

(iv)
We believe that he healed those born blind, and the lepers with God’s permission

Preaching isn't allowed in the Religion sub-forum. This is for discussion, not proselytizing. All you did was cite some mythology without offering any points for discussion.
 
This "phenomena" can easily be explained by the fact that Islam was created after Christianity, in a time when Christianity was the ultimate religion.
 
Thus, if muslims wanted to survive in the world outside of the Arabian peninsula (i.e, Ethiopia, Europe, Byzantium), they had to integrate some of christianity.
'Course, that backfired...crusades, anyone?

So hapsburg, is what your saying then that even if muslims try to intergrate they will never be able to live in peace with christians as for fear of a christian backlash??? (eg crusades)

did i said that jesus didn't exist you should read it again. jesus has been mentioned in koran by name.
 
pbuh means peace be upon him, in arabic alayhis salaam and is reserved for Prophets of Islam. swt means subhana wa taala, which in english means glorified and high and is used after the name of Allah (swt).

The reason why evo created this forum is to promote a discussion of Islam and Christianity commonality in reverance of Messiah Jesus (Isa) (peace be upon him).

M*W: Ahhh, but the problem is that christians (pbua) have a distorted view of their "messiah" (pbua) and, further, christians (pbua) have no respect for you (pbua) or your religion (pbua) or your god Allah (pbua). In fact, christians (pbua) have no respect for each other. With some 34,000 cults of christianity, you can see how they would have all this infighting. Since there really is no such religion as christianity (pbua), only the ignorant and brainwashed are deluded enough to believe in it as their salvation. However, if you are sincerely wanting to discuss the religion of christianity in an intelligent manner, you might want to address the atheist faction on this forum. We are the ones who will tell you the truth about it (pbua).

BTW, in case you're wondering what (pbua) stands for, take your pick:

"Peace be upon atheists."
"Peace be upon Allah."
"Peace be upon all."
 
Indeed, I respect your view to disagree with Christianity, but I believe not all Christians hate Islam. There are many bad christian groups (especially in the West) but there are also many nice and kind christian groups. Throughout my experience with the Arab christians (and there are many) in the Middle East, I have noticed that many of them respect us and are very friendly to us. Many of them uphold the same values of justice, freedom, and honor. Tthey believe in Allah, in fact they even call him Allah, however they associate the Messiah (peace be upon him) and the Gabriel (peace be upon him) which is wrong. My father has been to parts of Mexico and South America and they showed great respect to Muslims and Islamic beliefs as well. I think the problem is that the politicalisation of Christianity is from the right-wing, pro-Zionist groups, and most of them intent on a clash of civilizations with Islam. I only wish for people to get along, Muslims, Chrisitans, and Athiests. We are all capable of human reason and understanding. We should use it.

Also, that's for being so polite. Some of the posters on this forum like to argue but are very rude and offensive. Go to this thread in religion board and you will see what I mean: "THE REAL [GOD] = ALLAH ...... join here you all need to know."

This is a discussion forum DH You come here making claims or preaching you should expect your claims to be picked apart. Just coming here and claiming "islam is wonderful" and expecting everyone to take your word on it won't fly same goes for any faith. It may not seem it but medicine woman has huge sharp claws that can strip all the flesh off of a believer in a matter of minutes :p

I have no problem if people argue intellegently about Islam in forums, but some people in this forum are really racist and use deciet, lies, and calls for murder to further their point. Example is a a couple of members who said Muslims should be nuked. Also, some people also have offensive avatars.
