One talk-to-your-child tip includes the following bulleted item: “Take your child to the drugstore and point out the pads, tampons, condoms, etc. Take your teen to a clinic for contraception and exams, or let your teen know where to go for help to prepare to be sexually active.”

Our stats are embarrasing.

Those who scream about stopping abortion should start with a massive education effort, they should be begging the schools to help with the problem and parents need to do a far better job. And stop the abstinence only crap. Kids are going to have sex, they need to use contraception.

Kids aren't stupid, but they are told in this country that sex is dirty and thus are afraid to talk about it, thus they are ignorant about protection.
