Once had to hit the deck when the chopper I was putting cargo in took off while I was standing next to the body. The cargo door was open but the light had failed on the panel.

Knew another guy who jumped in the cargo hold when it took off while loading. He got their attention by beating on the inside wall. The door was still open...

Saw a sea gull fly into the main rotor while under way. nothing left but feathers...

there is a 'funny video' of a guy getting sucked into the engine of a harrier. The pilot switches power off and the man is unhurt.

nah Brolly... the guy survived. he didn't get sucked thru & spat out. he was wedged in the intake of a jet fighter, something got caught (jacket or something) which saved him from following thru -so to speak.

funny looking video footage though... the bloke just lifts off the ground and is gone.
