Osama Bin Laden is Dead

Well he is OSAMA BIN LADEN, why can't he have a resurrection from the dead around Easter?

Nice, I needed an excuse to post a Zombie Bin Laden pic.

Still, funeral at sea for the most wanted man in the world? You'd think someone might want to keep him around for forensics

Forensics? It wasn't a crime scene Sam. If you kill your target the only thing you need the body for after the fact is well dart board practice.

Do muslims celebrate easter?

Good one, I like it. :D

Still, as long as the sheeple, er, I mean Americans are convinced that OBL was killed by the US, its enough.

I'm going to look up the background story, where he went for dialysis etc

Dialysis, Langley Hospital near the CIA HQ, if im not mistaken.

Yes, the original report behind that piece of Stupid came from a French newspaper called Le Figaro, and if you read the original (French) article, it doesn't give a single reliable source of any kind. And it wasn't supposedly a CIA hospital in the US, it was supposedly a CIA hospital somewhere in the vicinity of Saudi Arabia. It's bathroom cokehead rumour type material, and I'd be embarassed to have ever believed in something so demented.

Oh come now. Americans are not the only one's convinced of Bin Laden's death. I mean if your 'Pakistani Observer' article was true and he had died 'a long time ago' then why the following condemnation by Ismail Haniyeh?

The U.S.-backed Palestinian Authority welcomed bin Laden's killing as "good for the cause of peace." Its rival and prospective power-sharing partner, Islamist Hamas, deplored his death.

"We condemn the assassination and the killing of an Arab holy warrior," said Ismail Haniyeh, head of the Hamas administration in Gaza, which faces a challenge from al Qaeda-inspired groups that consider it too moderate.

"We regard this as a continuation of the American policy based on oppression and the shedding of Muslim and Arab blood."

Those who revered bin Laden were still in denial about his death but many in the Arab world felt it was long overdue.

Why does he have his panties in a twist? Surely they would have received the OBL died in 2001 memo. Interestingly enough the Pakistani Observer seems to have covered every bloody news item in Pakistan accept Bin Laden's death and burial by U.S. I guess its more comforting to say he died by natural causes than with a bullet through the head.

Now all we need is for Obama er I mean Osama to produce the long form of the death certificate

What do you care if there is a death certificate if your issue is with the lack of physical evidence? Why didn't the Pakistani government issue a death certificate after the 'death' of Bin Laden reported by that hokey newspaper in 2001?

Speaking of which, where are the remains of his 2001 death? I mean there was a funeral so there must be a marked grave somewhere. I think you should get together with Geraldo and go off on investigation. It will be like the 'Mystery of Al Capone's Vault' all over again.

I don't have any issue with an Easter OBL. Its going to make no difference to anything, whether he is alive or dead or a zombie. I'm just pointing out that its marvelously convenient to have a dead OBL who is buried at sea.

Ah come on! Its convenient to have a credit card but I don't bother to point it out. The only reason why its being pointed out is because there is so much doubt information and disinformation since the beginning of this whole 9/11 mess.

I mean hey, I get it.

Bin Laden is no good dead. In fact, he went out exactly as he would have wanted.

We would have got some answers had he been captured alive.

What more water-boarding? Someone as committed as Bin Laden would have rather had his skin peeled off than give information.

Okay, I just saw the video and the guy has the wrong nose. But that is just my opinion - you can change a lot about your face with disguises and age and diseases, but how does a slender pinched nose become a thick broad one [WARNING: DEAD GUY!!!!]?

Even the face looks too young to me, considering his last known actual appearance

But maybe he had plastic surgery, if he could get dialysis why not nip and tuck?

The second picture of the dead guy has already been debunked as fake. Obama said he would release pictures etc.

You can read more about it here: http://www.opposingviews.com/i/fake-death-photo-of-osama-bin-laden-hits-internet

Yikes. One would think they took out a CEO for Goldman Sachs or Bank of America or something. You know, someone responsible for vastly greater suffering...

But wait--weren't those the sorts of folks Bin Laden was targeting? Funny that.

All this jubilation reeks of... something.

(And I say this with the utmost respect to the proletarians who died.)

It's a huge psychological victory against terrorism.

No it isn't.

Amongst radical groups, Bin Laden was considered 'soft', not extreme enough etc.

As experts have been saying for years now, Zawahiri is the bigger threat. In terms of the most dangerous and fanatical terrorist in recent years, Zarqawi wins that award with ease. He was just something else.

There are plenty of guys around much worse and more unpredictable than Bin Laden. The danger is in these guys coming in to fill the void.

I believe the Arab revolutions are the biggest blow to Al-Qaeda and the Jihadists.
