Bells, you have had some experiance with the family court right?
Does this judgement sound correct under the principles of that court
As far as i have herd it shouldnt matter what hertitage the people were, the defult possition is that if the biological parents can provide a safe and stable home then the children should reside with the parents. There for even putting aside the Aborigional and non aborigional issues this case (as its been reported) should have gone with the mother shouldnt it?

A non-Aboriginal woman has won custody of her Aboriginal grandchildren, despite the children's mother arguing they should be with her and her Indigenous culture.
The mother tried to win back the primary custody of her young children in the Family Court of Appeal in Darwin last year.
The children have been in the care of their 60-year-old grandmother of European descent for several years.
The mother said the court had not given enough weight to her children's right to enjoy their Aboriginal Tiwi Islands culture and language, which their grandmother could not provide.
The court heard the mother's relationship with the children's father involved domestic violence, but that she was now in a new, "violence-free" relationship.
The judges ruled the children's heritage was important but the grandmother had provided a secure, stable home and dismissed the mother's appeal.
