System of a Down – Toxicity
Oh hey, I have that too! :D How'd you find it?

I thought it was great, I liked the dark metal feeling, combined with almost cultish tones. Though the lyrics are quite short and repeated a whole lot, I think SOAD got the message through. I didn't mind the yelling and screaming as much, because it was the right kind of music for it. I find them very original: They have the heavy beats, but it's not like Rage Against The Machine....there's screaming, but it's not like Slipknot... A great CD, except not one I'd listen to if my mum were in the room with me. :D

My favourite songs ATM are "ATWA", "X", "Shimmy", and "Aerials", though I love all of them equally. :)

SOAD - Toxicity
Tool - Lateralus
Pearl Jam - Ten
Incubus - Make Yourself
A Perfect Circle - Mer de Noms

Another Summer - AIM
The Return - Rithma

Sweet contemporary jazz feel, plus the relaxing rhythm of ambient....groove on out, maaan....*is in state of elevated peace*

The Doors : "The End" is just playing now
Bob Dylan : Times are a-changin
Sublime

It's one of those rainy days in New Zealand today, so hot cocoa & mellow tunes are priority:)
Take it easy y'all

madder rose - hello june fool

sleater kinney - dig me out

skunk anansie - post orgasmic chill

leonard cohen - ten new songs

New in the library

Latest additions:

• Pearl Jam: Live in Seattle, Washington, 11.05.2000 (2 disc set)
• Primal Scream: Evil Heat
• Screaming Trees: Uncle Anesthesia
• Screaming Trees: Invisible Lantern
• Queens of the Stone Age: Live at the Cotton Club, 5.27.2002

(Note: Evil Heat--I also obtained a live copy of the real song "Bomb the Pentagon". Sadly, the version I had obtained was a forgery. Embarrassingly, I had cited it in a debate somewhere in this forum. Whoops.)

Also added: new Hendrix recording--"Love Love"; several songs from a Trojan Records reggae compilation, and some random singles a friend dropped in from his iPod. Added and then removed: two songs by Eminem. One was a corrupted mp3, the other just plain awful and I didn't want to keep it.

Next additions: Clumsy Lovers, Goodness, Kyuss, Hater.

thanx,
Tiassa

When you are 10 years-old, that is a VERY risqué song! :)

Peace.
