Nude Child Photography OK?

Is nude child photography, purely from an artistic point of view, acceptable?

I don't see how sexualising your child and teaching your child to sexualise children assures any protection from predators. Quite the reverse, I would think.

And I gave the example of some Western countries because thats where I have seen it. I actually conducted anthropometric measurements on some US children (I have also done this in the ME and in India). The difference in attitude is enormous. Seven year olds are sexually aware, are considering dating, giggle about boyfriends, wear makeup and jewelry, have body shape concerns.

If theswe children are becoming sexually aware at a younger age then why should we let them run around naked?

Would you want someone taking pics of you and posting them without your permission? A child is not aware of the dangers of what's out there, that's why it's the parent's responsiblity to look out for their welfare and respect them.

GOD if any pedophile could get a hold of this thread they were sure know to make friends with Orleander and SAM...........As Orleander already asked Baron if she wanted her to send a naked picture of her kid to him earlier........ What if Baron was a Pedophile??????
 
Because like it or not, we don't live in a safe place, where the kids can run around naked freely and you can post naked pictures of them online. Why pretend that we do.
 
Safety is a different issue.

The best bet is to make your children self reliant. Teach them self defence, how to behave around strangers etc. Children who are over protected at home or who come from rigid social structures are more likely to be victims (this has also been my experience; I have unfortunately met many such children).

Confidence and a healthy self perception are the key to self reliance. Otherwise, any smooth tongued sharpie could take advantage. Most perverts don't look like perverts and their method is coercion not force.

Riight, like making them aware of what, might and why. Who said anyone was against that? Of course and not parading around naked is part of that lesson.

At least he has options and some training to think of asserting himself. With most children who are victims, this is a major issue.

Children tend to naturally follow authority.
 
so does this mean nude child photography is unacceptable under any circumstances because a pervert may be turned on by it?
