Interesting stuff. I expect the use of this class of drugs to explode in the coming years. Intelligence is getting increasingly important in today's jobs. This will increase the demand for these smart drugs. I expect that people who are smart to begin with to start using these drugs, to gain a competitive edge on others. It's going to be a big thing.Nootropics, popularly referred to as "smart drugs," are substances which boost human cognitive abilities (the functions and capacities of the brain). The word nootropic is derived from the Greek words noos or mind and tropein meaning to ward. Typically, nootropics are alleged to work by increasing the brain's supply of neurochemicals (neurotransmitters, enzymes, and hormones), by improving the brain's oxygen supply, or by stimulating nerve growth.
Anybody have any experience with any of these drugs?
