I have also seen a first person account of a Jewish collaborator who put his wife and daughter on such a train. But he cared too much for his own life to join them.

The actions of one person surely can't reflect the attitudes of a whole people. Although I'm sure you know that, you just can't help but put such drivel out there, can you, SAM? ...anything that reflects badly on the Jewish people, you're all for throwing it out for us, huh?

Should we take your attitudes, your hatreds and your actions as proof that all Indians are like you?

I gave him a specific example of Jews killing Jews during the holocaust, which he appears to think did not happen. How is that a generalisation to all of them?

There is quite a lot of stuff throughout history that reflects badly on the Jewish people.

There's the Old Testament, to start with.

There is quite a lot of stuff throughout history that reflects badly on the entire human race ...all religions and all races included.

Your statement says nothing about the Jews in particular that isn't true of everyone else.

Baron Max

You'd think they wouldn't see themselves as a particularly outstanding example then, of a people who have screwed up royally, on successive occasions, huh? Just like 'everyone else'.

Reading the Old Testament, I can't see that the Jews were any worse than the other groups they shared their region with.

The Hebrews, whose language is a resurrected part of the modern mythology.

Are they still no worse than any other group, as the modern-day Israelis in their ersatz kingdom, than when the Law was first recorded.

Perhaps they were: Most others had many specialized Gods E.g. god of the sea, of rain, of the hunt, etc. for perhaps 100 total, with many having jurisdiction in only a very local area (the west valley god, a certain river god, etc.)

Now as Adam Symth was to show about 300 years ago, by subdividing a large task into many separate smaller one, each of which could be more efficiently done by a "specialist" resulted in much lower cost and better production.

The Jews put ALL THE WORK on one god. As the centuries passed, his (or her) ability to do everything was clearly failing. (Millions of children died in the black plague, even his agents were pulling people apart on the rack etc.) These obvious failures could be accepted if there were 100 different Gods. For example the flood that washed away the village was an act of the river god alone. (The other 99 Gods were still helping if prayed to etc.)

In summary: The foundations of atheism, perhaps even "science" was the killing of 99 specialized Gods leaving only one, who was doing something, wrong /harmful to man almost every week. It is no wonder few believe in his power now days. I have read that most Jews in Israel no longer have the strong "faith of their fathers" or are atheists. As this trend continues, there is no foundation for moral behavior (or even a very good concept of what "morality" might be.)

I pray to the internet god, everyday to spare me from virus attack - that one God of the Jews is spread too thin with all his more important concerns to do this for me.

I could go on, but must quit now to continue my communion with Bacchus.

Wow SAM how do i know you didn't forge that made up letter. For starters. Shahak is not a hebrew name, secondly no Jewish person names their child Israel, it's just not done. You do not see that many Christians name their sons Jesus or muslims naming their children allah.

Also SAM it's obviously propaganda because the first name Israel, is used to represant the whole state of Israel. if your too blind to look at your own arguements than get out.

So did the Muslims. Yet you singled out the Jews ....why?

Baron Max
They invented the one God idea about 550 years before. The Muslims were just later day converts to it. (Now leave me alone, Bacchus and I are busy.)

550?

Ok let's see...

Islam was born in the 5th or 6th century, AD.
Abraham's discovery of the One G-d was in the 2nd or 3rd millenium B.C.

That's at least 2000 years difference. How the hell did you come up with 550?

The boy's name Israel \i-srael, is-rael\ is pronounced IS-rah-el. It is of Hebrew origin. Possibly "God perseveres, contends". Biblical: when Jacob, son of Isaac, was in his nineties, God changed his name to Israel as a token of blessing. His 12 sons became the ancestors of the Israelite nation. Author Israel Shenker.

Israel has 1 variant form: Yisrael.

Baby names that sound like Israel are Azrael, Azriel, Azryel and Azreel.

Israel is a popular male first name and a very popular surname (source: 1990 U.S. Census). Displayed below is the baby name popularity trend for the boy's name Israel. Compare Israel with related baby names.

Thanks for the correction. My mind was fogged by Bacchus. 550 AD was about when the Muslim faith began.

I thought Mohammed was born in 570 AD and got his first revelation at the age of 40? Was there something else that happened before that?

Over 30 rockets were fired from Gaza this past two days.
Israeli Knesset member ben Israel said they are capable of firing on Tel Aviv.

Israel is still allowing for goods to cross into Gaza, including money.

How much longer is Israel going to keep allowing that to happen before they actually do something to stop it? Another 60 years? At some point, Israel is going to have to come to terms with it ...either shrug off any possible Israeli deaths and destruction, or stop the rocket attacks. It can't go on as it has forever.

The problem is this is what Hamas wants. They don't care how many dies in the process as long as the goal is one. Such cruelty.
