my museum dream

I have had a dream for a long time to have a museum. Though I'm not very old in body in spirit I am ancient and I wish to share my interests and knowlege with the world. It would feature skeletal remains of all sorts of animals both ancient and modern as well as hominids. I would have a section dedicated to the stuffed remains of animals humanely euthanized by zoos when they crossed the river. In that area there would also be infornmation of conservation efforts and ways ordinary people can help preserve our world and all it's creatures. A seperate section would be made for human odities like giants, little people, conjoined twins, centurians and other such things as well as have speakers like traditional Native American people who could speak of the old ways. I would have a lecture hall where scientists and other lecturers and musical artists (all kinds) could preform. As well as mummies and other preserved body parts and things like that. I'd lso have an area for art and photography exhibits. It's a long way off as I don't have much money but I was wondering if anyone knew of any grants, companies, or individuals that may be able to help finance such a thing. Also are there any laws regarding this sort of thing in California?

The best way to learn abourt the operation of any business or enterprise is from within.

There is probably a museum near you of approximately the same type as you image you someday would like to build. Seek employment there. If they have no open positions, sign on as a volunteer -- practically every museum has a cadre of volunteers/docents who lead tours or do chores.

The answers to your questions will be revealed there. You'll also be able to introduce yourself to the community movers and shakers who give monetary support to the institution -- folks, or their friends/acquaintances in other cities, who someday may be petitioned by you to support your own dream.
