Conclusion: Sam is rich and lives in an area where none of that crap bothers her/him. And to make it worse, it seems, she/he refuses to look at the warts that grow profusely on the nation of India.

On a proportional basis, crime in Mumbai and India in general is much lesser than the West. I have never seen people sitting in street corners with guns, nor have I heard of school children shooting teachers in Mumbai.
