However what your media is not telling you is that the rebels are waiting for third party international group, not another pro-Kiev pro-US group that can easily manipulate the data. If Russia wants to find the guilty, then perhaps they should instruct their guard dogs to heel so that the independent investigators can access the site and actually start investigating.

And yet, investigators are still being threatened and harassed in their attempts to perform their duties and they are still being denied access to investigate the crime scene. The prime minister is Alexander Yurevich Borodai, also a Russian from Moscow and reported to be a major general in the Russian FSB. Borodai, says he is employed by a wealth fund in Moscow. You would think that if this was a legitimate rebellion it would be led by Ukrainians. But that is just it, isn’t a legitimate Ukrainian rebellion. It is a Russian invasion under the guise of a rebellion. When Russia supplies the leaders, the equipment, the men, and the financing as is the case, it is hard to see how one could characterize this as anything but an invasion and occupation of Eastern Ukriane.

A missile was launched from separatist territory that destroyed that aircraft.
Several intercepted phone calls indicate separatists fired the missile.
Disogranized military officials, some drunk, have been keeping international investigators out while allowing looting of personal effects.

do you honestly believe its more likely that a ukrainian force that could verify it was civilian aircraft intentionally blew a civilian airliner out of the sky than russian funded rebels who couldn't screwed up and shot it down by accident.

Here's a hopeful sign:

We will see if they carry through with their promise, and whether this is a prelude to allowing international investigation agencies into the area.
