could really use some help with with molecular weight. could some one please show me how to do this sample problem so i can understand it better. thanks

Fructose has the epirical formula c6h12o6. glucose has the same empirical formulia but a different structural formula. table sugar is composed of one fructose and one glucose joined together. calculate the molecular weight of sucrose sow calculation.

Glucose molecular Formula; C6 H12 O6

C
Molecular weight: 12.011 X 6 = 72.066
H
Molecular weight: 1.008 X 12 = 12.096

O
Molecular weight: 15.999 X 6 = 95.994

Total 180.156

Calculate for Sucrose; Molecular formula C12 H22 O11

Molecular weight: 342.299
Physical m.w.: 342.116211
Elemental analysis: 42.11%C, 6.48%H, 0.00%N
Double bond equivalents: 2
