The US needs to stop attacking the forces fighting ISIS.

And first of all the US has to leave areas where they cannot fight ISIS because they do not border with ISIS-controlled regions. So, in particular, they have to leave the region around the Al Tanf border crossing, which they actually occupy in clear and obvious violation of international law.
Except, the US and allied forces are the only ones fighting ISIS, and as you well know US and allied forces are not in violation of international law. Oops.

Lol, see all the maps about the advances of the Syrian army against ISIS. This is the main front for the Syrian army during the last time. In the North, they have fought in the Raqqa governorate, and recently taken Resafa from ISIS (Daesh), and are now liberating the Itriya-Raqqa road from ISIS, in the South, they have advances toward the T2 airbase against ISIS, East of Palmyra they have advanced too in the Arak gas fields against ISIS, and in Deir Ezzor they defend the town all the time against continuing attacks from ISIS. And in East Hama the Syrian army is also fighting ISIS near Aqerbat. So, these are 5 different fronts where the Syrian army and its allies fight against ISIS. Ok, the Kurds fight too, in Raqqa, if they do not attack the Syrian army. Fine. But this is one front.

How is, instead, the US army base near Al Tanf fighting ISIS? Look at the maps in #98, at the US base in the South, in the green area, and tell me how they fight ISIS. US bases which have no possibility to fight ISIS, and, therefore, do not fight ISIS, have no legitimacy at all, and clearly violate international law.

The other fields where the Syrian army attacks, in particular in Daraa, the fighting seems to have stopped, because of a ceasefire reached by the Russians. So, actually there is only one region where the Syrian army does not fight ISIS, but instead Al Qaida - the suburb Jobar of Damaskus. Here an actual map:
DDBZzadXYAIc5u2.jpg

A quite small local fight, with the Syrian army advances measured in the number of buildings taken.

You need to stop taking Putin's money to post this crap. Have you no self respect...?

Some progress of the Syrian army in Ayn Tarma is reported, with the following map:

Joepistole's comrades from the FSA are also proud to announce some success:
You should try being honest comrade. But then your employer wouldn't allow that. Isn't that so comrade?

Joepistole's comrades have tried to regain Bir Qassab (point 4 in the map of #89) but without success. The good news: Even if these were the same group of joepistole comrades which have been previously supported by US airforce, no such support has been mentioned this time.

The Tiger forces (Syrian army) has taken a Syriatel tower and the nearby checkpoint from Daesh on the Itriya-Raqqa road (near the center of the red circle on the map of #97) . Some remaining 10 km or so, with one central junction at Zazia, and the whole road would be under Syrian army control. This would create a large encircled desert area colored as if owned by Daesh. But it is unclear if there remained much Daesh forces there.

Then, the Syrian army has taken a point on the road between T3 and T2 stations, approximately at the center between them (see maps at #98). Moreover, some more confirmations that the Syrian army is in an area close to T2.

Those "Tiger" forces are too busy quivering in their tiger paws comrade to be bothered with actually attacking ISIS or US and allied forces. Those tigers don't have much of an air force left.

Lol, they have already taken from ISIS the whole region between Aleppo and the Euphrat. Then, in a short break caused by the Hama offensive, killed a lot of your comrades from Al Qaida, sorry. After this, they have taken the remains of the Deir Hafer plain and then the whole Maskanah plain from ISIS, and after this several oil fields South of Tabka up to the Resafa junction. Now, they encircle the remain of ISIS in the Aleppo governorate by taking the Itriya-Raqqa road.

What the Tiger forces have taken from ISIS you can see on this map:
1-330.jpg

It is all the part North and East of that ISIS-controlled part of the desert which will become encircled in a short time.

And they have enough airforce left. Do you really think that a single SU 22 is really a big loss? It was a serious act of aggression, showing again the US airforce as being the IS airforce, and that's why worth to be mentioned. But in comparison what has been reached by the Tiger forces in these days, against ISIS as well as SDF, by taking the Resafa junction, is something you seem unable to understand.

And, btw, after the failed attack of your FSA comrades against Bir Qassab, the Syrian army has started a counteroffensive, taking a hill Rajm Al-Sarikhi and 3 km of territory South of it. Without any US airforce defending them.

By the way, the progress of the Syrian army at the South seems more serious than I have expected, there was not only a single point taken on the road between T3 and T2, but it seems this was simply the point they have reached advancing along the road, and that there is nothing left under ISIS control South of it. The following map:
zl585anh527cauvzg.jpg

is already outdated, because the next big point on the road, Humaymah, has been taken too. Moreover, the Syrian army was already yesterday in the Deir Ezzor governorate, with the thin white line being the border. So, this map is far too pessimistic.

Well, here is one of the many problems for your fellow Russians, Hamas, and Assad's "Tigers" they keep confusing everyone with al-Qaeda and other assorted terrorists. They are so afraid of "terrorists" everyone and everything become terrorists, even little unarmed boys and girls sleeping in their homes, even injured and ill people in hospitals.

Who cares about your propaganda fantasies? The territories which the Tiger forces have liberated, which I have shown you on the map, have been controlled before by ISIS. It is this black flag with the white circle inside, together with some text, which is the Daesh flag. Daesh, or ISIS, was that gang which even terror-supporter Obama recognized, without any objections, as terrorist.

The areas controlled by your comrades from Al Qaida and FSA, which the US supports openly, are, in all these maps, marked green. See, like in this map, which shows how they run away from the Syrian army today near Bir Qassab:
DDQKpW0XYAA8Nm_.jpg

Bad luck for your comrades, because the Bir Qassab oasis is the only thing in this region really worth to be controlled, everything else is desert.

If one names these green forces FSA or Al Qaida or whatever (there are many more) is something one can easily confuse. So, actually some gang named "Ansar Al-Shariyah Regiment" has switched from Hatesh (which is the actual name of Al Qaida) to Harakat Ahrar Al-Sham, which is mostly paid by the Turks and counts as more or less "moderate". https://www.almasdarnews.com/articl...adist-faction-defects-al-qaeda-ahrar-al-sham/ Anyway, the difference is not big at all, they all want Sharia law.

And therefore they are, in actual fights near the Golan heights, heavily supported by Israel. There is, btw, also a small enclave of ISIS near the Israeli border, too small to be viable without support from outside. And I leave it to you to guess if this outside support comes from Jordan (which is afraid itself of all these terrorists) or Israel.

A new fake gas attack is obviously in preparation. This time in almost open cooperation with the US:
White-House-statement-1078x462.jpg

As far as I know, Al Jazeera has already made a film about this short time after the last attack, so that you can expect high quality professional reports from the attack.

And, indeed, the general situation is also similar, the Syrian forces act in a quite successful way, taking the Resafa junction in the North and connecting with Iraq in the South, all this heavily against the interests of the US deep state, so, something really serious has to be done to change this. Provocations with the US shooting an aircraft supporting ISIS and now Israel acting during the last days as Al Qaida airforce have been ignored, instead of leading to an escalation. So, nothing but yet another fake gas attack remains.

Russia and Syria have answered this provocation with appropriate comments. https://www.almasdarnews.com/article/us-threats-syrias-legitimate-government-unacceptable-kremlin/

Last time there was a gas attack, Russia put out a ridiculous excuse trying to deflect blame onto the rebels, then changed its story when forensic analysis of the attack proved the original story to be physically impossible. You don't get to be wrong all the time and still demand that people take your claims seriously.

Assad was doing next to nothing about ISIS until the US got involved. Now he's suddenly in a big hurry to join the fight, because he doesn't want to lose ISIS territory to the people presently risking their lives to liberate it. So it's quite clear that this perfectly legal US intervention has succeeded not only in degrading ISIS to the point of collapse, but also in forcing Assad to save a small fraction of his barrel bombs for actual bad guys. Hopefully through a combination of actions both in Iraq and in Syria, in cooperation with the local Sunni populations dominant on the ground, the US will be able to block any supply routes your terrorist friends in Iran attempt to establish.

Likewise, Israel can be expected to act decisively against any and all mass-murdering apes threatening its borders, and has done so against both ISIS and Hezbollah. Schmelzer, your fellow Russian countrymen/ethnic kin should stop trying to park terrorists on Israel's border, unless you want a fight you simply can't afford.

What the hell are we doing in the middle east?

Is it just a marketing scam for the military industrial complex?

What's with the "we" all the time when you talk about the government that governs the land you happen to live on? You don't participate in the civil society of the country you inhabit and show no interest in doing so, thus it's only grammatically correct for you to refer to "them". On that note, as far as US actions are concerned, we know for certain they're not murdering and raping over half a million civilians like the guys you cheer for are...

The US explains on which side they fight:

Well, we’ve seen – all we have to do is look to the past, right, and we have seen as the Syrian regime back in 2015 was on the verge of collapsing – who came in to help save the Syrian regime? Who came in? Russia came in. And that is exactly why we are today – we, meaning the world – in the place that Syria is. Russia came in, helped bolster up Syrian forces, and we have seen the death, the devastation, the destruction that has taken place ever since.

Syrian_Civil_War_map.svg

It was, indeed, not a good time, especially for ISIS, as one can see. Putin is probably very sorry about the death, the devastation, the destruction of the American dreams for Syria.

PS: About the US claim that it prepares a new fake gas attack in Syria (this is how any reasonable person interprets this claim that Assad is preparing one) I have read an interesting hypothesis. It may be that Trump has got some information about such preparations by the CIA/deep state, and this was a subtle way to prevent it - by making its fake character too obvious. Interesting theory.
