This pictures are cartoon animations and are not "photos" enhanced from an electron microscope.
 
Hmmmmmmm Isn't there a name for hobbyists who examine dog penises under the microscope? :)

I found those animations while looking for a copy of Body Code after seeing some stills from it in Science a couple of months back. It won best animation or some such in the Science Visualization Awards. I never did find it. The guy who did the animations for it did the animations in the link above.
