On the Sisteen Chapel ceiling, the picture of the two fingers almost touching, but not quite, are such a representation of humanity and God. And now the gap is getting further apart becasue we idiot humans keep backing away. When you look at the picture, notice that man is reclined and all he need do is stretch is hand. Not move his body, not stand up, not even lift his ungreatful arm. All he needs to do is extend his wrist, but no, while God and all his glory reaches out to us, nearly falling from his cloud of angels and goodness, we naked, foolish humans won't even lift a finger to meet him. Any thoughts?

Umm, actually, if you study art history, instead of talking out of your ass, you will learn that Michelangelo was representing the very moment before Adam became truely human.

Adam wasn't backing away. He was simply clay, and God is about to give him a soul.
