After his post it's night, so no more posting till morning.
The mobs can PM each other during the night to decide on who to kill.

since we can't communicate at all during "night"... will there be a set time that night ends? rather than the arbitrary thing with the duration of day one?

I kinda feel bad for him, I voted and unvoted people like crazy, I JUST DONT KNOW WHO TO TRUST!

At this stage, only 5 players out of 15 have registered a vote, so DAY 1 will continue to give a chance for other players to vote. Some players have hardly posted in the thread at all yet.

Any votes or changes for day 1 after that time will be ignored. Day 1 will definitely end between 10 and 12 hours from the time of this post. Then, NIGHT 1 will begin.

When NIGHT falls, I will announce who has been arrested and removed from the game.
Remember that only your most recent vote will count, and only votes posted in bold on a separate line will count (otherwise I might not see them when I review the thread).
If any registered players have not posted in this thread at all when DAY 1 ends, I will look to replace them with other people who want to play, on the assumption that they weren't serious about taking part.
During the NIGHT, I will close this thread so that non-Mafia players cannot talk to each other (remember, it is cheating to talk by PM to other players during the NIGHT). After it starts, NIGHT will continue either until all 5 Mafia have sent their kill votes to me by PM, or until 24 hours real time has passed (whichever comes first).
I think from DAY 2 onwards, I will make each DAY-NIGHT cycle last for 24 hours real time, with NIGHT hopefully considerably shorter than DAY. That way, there'll be no doubt about when to get your votes in. Obviously, I have to sleep in real life (and I have other things I need to do), and given that players are in different time zones, a 24 hour cycle should give all players a chance to play the game.
