I read a book last year about Luciferianism. It seems that he was once an angel, and fell from grace. God cast him to earth. It would seem that while many think of Lucifer as evil, he is actually the great liberator. Liberation from what? From following the constructs of man and even God, and finding the light, within the darkness.
That's what I recall from that book. I have a friend who follows the ''left hand path,'' and he has helped me see in greater depth, the meaning behind this. It's about finding one's truest self, even if it's dark, and not quite the norm. Who defines normal, in other words?
It was worth the read, because I've only ever been told and taught that Lucifer doesn't represent anything potentially redeemable.
