Verse 9:11 of the Qur'an is about repentance and reads as follows in three different English translations:
*But (even so), if they repent, establish regular prayers, and practise regular charity, they are your brethren in Faith: (thus) do We explain the Signs in detail, for those who understand.
*But if they repent and establish worship and pay the poor-due, then are they your brethren in religion. We detail Our revelations for a people who have knowledge.
*But if they repent and keep up prayer and pay the poor-rate, they are your brethren in faith; and We make the communications clear for a people who know.

The eagle...strange...
1) it's strange
If I remember well, then Saddam's regime also used an eagle.
It was in one of the upper corner of some Iraqi television extracts, especially during MSS faboulous press briefings..., and possibly also in the seal on the desk behind which MSS was standing.
And it was on front of MSS famous beret.
2) the Coran for predictions??
Remember that many people have tried to read predictions from Nostradamus writings, and also to interpret things which happened, into it, and what really came out? Nothing.
I also think the Bible and the Coran are not appropriate for predictions.
They are books of religion, and should stay so.
