I hate it when people make snap judgements.

Lets take an example of what I mean

-------------------------------------------

Say Joeman smells a bit today

He's walking down the street and passes two attractive ladies

They can smell him

They laugh and comment 'Have a bath, loser'

Joeman is hurt, but angry

--------------------------------------------

They have already decided that Joeman smells because he doesn't bath

What if he can't take a bath

Maybe his plumbings broken

Maybe the water has become contaminated

Maybe he's hydrophobic

Maybe he has something wrong with his sweat glands

Who knows.

As I said, this is an example, but there are many different scenarios like this where people assume things that they shouldn't

No, im with Thor on this.....

Im sick of people making false assumptions.. LIke Okay, maybe i DO have a gun in one hand... and yeah maybe a bag of money in the other hand with 'Bank' written on the bag... But does that automatically mean i have robbed the bank down the road. Maybe i just bought a gun, wanted to show the tellers, and was just clearing a bit of room in the safe so they could get MORE money..... people are so judgemental..... tsk tsk

i take them at face value

i dont need to know why joeman stinks but just that he does.
it is not an assumption but a fact.
in the unlikely event that i would wonder why brother joe stinks,
2 possibilities come to mind, he doesnt bathe or he has body odor.
now i am supposed to figure out his medical and plumbing problems? i am too wrapped up in my own miserable little existence

its different tho when one has to interact with a person in a social or professional level. in certain situations i would readily start making assumptions. for example at a job interview, getting copped, with family members..... and hope i am not mistaken:)

its nice to live where i do cos the average person here is nice and non-judgemental.
if one wants to be cynical it could also be said that we really dont give a fuck about each other. eye contact with strangers is something not done here. the most is a furtive peak thru the window of your car

Conclusion is not something I need to jump to. I do not "reach" for conclusion either. Conclusion is arrives by itself. Here are some samples but you guys can look around.
