The last line, ", it was still in the tin." created a sufficient paradigm shift to invoke the instinctial vocalization often characterized by short, rapid burst of shrill shrieks. Considering that such a reaction was very adaptive to our ancestors, in that it was a very convienent way to let the rest of the social group know that an immediate potential of danger was a false alarm, it stands to reason that the basis for these type of jokes capitalizes on the fact that we have not really evolved as much as we would like to think...........

It could be female too....or the person behind the name could be of any gender. I wasn´t sure so I said both...;)
