I've got what now?

I was sent home from work a week ago at 10:30 pm on suspicion of having chicken pox.
Since then I've seen no fewer than four nurses, three General Practitioners and one consultant physician.
We now think I've got something called
Koksaki Virus.
The only thing I know about it (including the spelling) is that it is a pericarditic disease.

Anyone got any information on this?

(BTW, if anything should happen to me, Banshee gets my CD collection!!)

'Peri' is a prefix meaning either side of, or surrounding. The pericardium in laymans terms is where the heart sits.
peri dontal
peri anal etc :)

So perianal is a reference to the butt cheeks? :D

esp, any update?

Well, I've had several results back.
I haven't got chicken pox, hepatitis B or syphilis.

Unfortunately, when my blood sample was taken, not enough was drawn. This is why the Coksaki test was not performed.
Still, Ive had no further indications and am back at work.

I'll try the link :)
