Some first hand testimonies of Israeli war crimes in Gaza. If you have any compassion for your fellow human, please read this and share your views.

Two Surgeons from the UK, Dr Ghassan Abu Sittah and Dr Swee Ang, managed to get into Gaza during the Israeli invasion. Here they describe their experiences, share their views, and conclude that the people of Gaza are extremely vulnerable and defenseless in the event of another attack.

To get a broader sense of Western media spin at play and to include some background information on the situation to give the above piece a context, here is thoughtful piece on the issue. Please read and share your views.

The Palestine Spin
Media coverage of the Confrontation of Palestine that supposedly re-opened in the 20th century a millennia-old conflict between the Jews and the Arabs, has been mostly spin, spun out of spin which, in turn, had been spun out of misperceptions and disinformation.

The people who fire the rockets into Israel also show a disregard for human life.
Both sides have some right and lots of wrong on their side.

The Russian article is pretty good, I'm going to look up Darya Aslamova

Correct. Both sides are wrong to use violence. But the one side, who in actual reality is the OPPRESSOR, has a HUGE high tech war machine at its disposal, and the other a couple of low rent projectiles used in resistance and defense. Do you think this is fair?

War and death are rarely fair.
Israel has acted in an oppressive fashion like allowing new settlements in the occupied territories or limiting humanitarian aid but upping the level of violence may not be the war to end the violence.

Do you blame the Inuit for defending themselves too? Were they responsible for being uprooted and marginalised? I am puzzled how you think people should react to a military invasion by fanatics who think God gave them the land.

Especially if it goes on for decades. If you were being raped and you had a gun, would you use it?

You are on the right track candy, war and death are NEVER fair. But please read a bit on the background of Palestine and Israel, and tell me who the oppressor is?

Most, yes. Descendants of the semitic Jews of the Middle-East are native to the Middle-East.

No. The only Jews who (may) have any claim to the ME/North Africa (not Palestine) as their birthright are the Mizrahim, and they are in the minority.

Despite all evidence suggesting that the Ashkenazim and Sephardim are descended from the semitic Jews of the Middle-East?

Show me the evidence. :) The dubious and iffy DNA "evidence" regarding this is in utter dispute.

The palestinians are also speaking up about the way that hamas forced them to be human shields, live in booby trapped homes and be falsely accused of being israeli collaborators and summarily tortured, maimed or executed, and all of this while both the military and political wings of hamas went largely into hiding. If you really want to understand the nature of a government, the first place to look is how they treat their own people.

Did the Warsaw Jews speak up about the organised militias in their ghetto? How they treated suspected collaborators, or anyone else they wanted to join their resistance movement?

Strange how some people get, when they're living under a total blockade and being murdered daily, isn't it? Humans never cease to amaze me. (I'm not from around here, you may have guessed)
