Yes, but Iraq didnt have an enormously powerful and well educated lobby in Washington stuffing the pockets of both parties with cash.
astounding. iraq wasnt invaded fr having WMD, half of the western world and india have WMD, iraq was invaded because those weapons could have fallen to the wrong hands, or to be more accurate be provided to terror groups where this weapons could be used against americans on US soil.

The only thing i do know about Saddam is from before the war i knew Iraqi people and let me tell you they were scared shit of Saddam. Even when they lived in U.S for a few years. Even with radical groups it is not so much about religion as it is politics.
As far as the topic goes, i have no emotional ties to Israel or Palestine. We can only hope that they find a way to get along.

Saddam was a secular dictator, whereas fundamentalist Islamic groups support a rigid theocracy. They envision completely different styles of government and society. Saddam always killed radical elements/suspected terrorists in his nation. One of the reasons Saddam fought with Iran for eight years was because of their newly established Islamic Republic.
