Is time travel possible based on theory?

...however, time-travel is achieved by creating, "forever." This must be achieved with the save-games. Like adding, "-s" to a word (plural; more than one.) :)

...this also raises another question: is it possible to time-travel within a computer game that is not supposed to have those capabilities i.e. time-travelling within the game?

I have an idea for developing time-travel (forever) within a game. You save a game, play-on a little, then save a second game. You then load the first saved-game, and save a game at the same moment (perhaps minute, perhaps level, perhaps point) at which you saved the second game. :)

It was correct at the time of posting. This is now the future from when I posted, which could not be detected, but which now exists.

The only thing that could put an end to the future is death. :)

I'll show you again, Michael345. The future! :)
You can look behind you and see a past geometrical position. You can look ahead of you and see a future geometrical position . If you look in the moment , you observe your present geometrical position and present age .

...perhaps instead of a computer game, someone could use Sciforums to time-travel. :)

Perhaps less postings, or likes. :)
Maybe our whole existence is a computer game ! Who knows what our reality really is . Space is the divide of objects , if it weren't for objects , we wouldn't be able to perceive space , as space does not emit or reflect light . The darkness of space is an illusion , the back ground of the night sky is an illusionary perception , rather than a physical reality.
Science isn't as good as they think they are , their theory lacks vigour .
Myths appear all the time in science , I see no signs of improvement or the allowing of free speech . What direction will science take , ai and cyber tech ruling the world .

The theory of artificial intelligence, that the universe is within a computer, will remain forever, since it will never be achieved.

I could achieve a hypothesis , it wouldn't be fact though . Maybe our brains are scanned and controlled , how would we ever know .

True, you see yourself in your NOW, but you can only observe everything else in your past. It takes time for light to travel and any light we observe is light from the past. Thus our NOW is always based on something else's past.

What we perceive as a future geometrical position is the future Implicate, the cognition of that which is about to become reality.

Michael345, I did not say that when I posted, it was the future; that came after (at the time you were reading the post.) When the post is being read, THAT was the future (which was undetectable at the time of posting, but which we now know happened.)

To write a comprehensive computer program requires the inclusion of a formula for time. :)

I'm of the opinion the equation for time would be a straight line (y=x.) :)

...or an equation that reads infinity...

Sort of correct but you moved the cricket stumps

Fair enough

Please name one thing which has not been detected which you think exist

:)

is the request

Reply was the future

You could also have said that big green and yellow supermarket over there

When I point out there is no green and yellow supermarket - you tell me to wait

Since NOW is always in existence and transforms into the future you have not detected it at the time of asking unless you can provide specific details (a green and yellow supermarket)

:)
