SITUATION EQUALS (see next post)

Who the hell knows... he talks well and knows whose balls to suck to get what he wants. But when it comes to policy he's a wildcard. He has no achievements at all, other than being the first [half] black person to reach such a high level of leadership in the US. (Yes, I think it's an achievement, and good for him). Hence, can't really predict.

I just know that when someone is turned into a living saint he is bound to disappoint people when it's showtime, because obviously, he's just human.

Cazzo, Obama is much less like Hitler and Ahmadinejad than Bush an McCain are. The whole reason you don't like Obama is because he is not enough like Hitler and Ahmadinejad.

You would like Hitler and Ahmadinejad. They are your kind of people. It is people like you who choose people like them to be your leaders.

I wasn't comparing Obama to Hitler and Ahmadinejad. :poke:
I'll re-write those 2 top posts to make them more obvious to you..............

Only if you can stomach drawing the same equation with Bush in it. From your article:

Many Democrats slammed Bush and pointed out the words of his own defense secretary, Robert Gates, who said on Wednesday: "We need to figure out a way to develop some leverage with respect to the Iranians and then sit down and talk with them."

The Bush administration has talked directly with Iran over the conflicts in its neighbors Iraq and Afghanistan and has offered to discuss a wide range of issues if Tehran agrees to suspend its uranium enrichment program.

"If George Bush believes engagement with Iran is appeasement, the first thing he should do when he comes home is demand the resignation of his own Cabinet," former Democratic presidential candidate John Kerry, an Obama supporter, said.

Yea, so far there hasn't been any success because the Bush administration isn't APPEASING them and buying their bull shit.....

Funny, I thought so far your definition of appeasing was just talking. What other form of appeasement is Obama guilty of promising? Is he dropping a nuke on Israel or something?

Bush doesn't want to do anything to hurt Ahmadinejad. Bush and the Republicans need him to scare the American voter...just like Bin Laden. These guys are valuable capital to the Republicans. If it were not for these guys Americans might look at the economy...and other things that the Republican Party would not want Americans to look at.

What would Bush and the Republicans do if it were not for Ahmadinejad, bin laden and the other boogey men? What a scary thought, a Republican party without their boogeymen.

Maybe they'd start being conservative for a change.

I thought about that for two seconds after I posted it and decided it's pretty unlikely. The Republicans didn't have such big boogeymen during the 90s.

What countries has Iran invaded?

Lebanon via Hizballah

Iraq via the Mahdi army

Israel via Hamas / Hizballah / Jihad al-Islami (at least trying very hard)

EDIT:

Khuzestan

They also have territorial disputes with some neighbours in the gulf, although those disputes are not as militaristic...
