Now, "our" farmers can produce enough food for "our" countries without computers (I don't speak about the third world...) and they did it before.

Depends on how you look at it. I mean, if you're talking hypothetically you're right.. but if you're not.. then you're wrong. The problem is that you fail to account for the benefits of increased efficiency on a market. If Farm A has computers and engineers and farm b has bill jo bob hyucktard.... it's likely that computers and engineers will be 200% as efficient (just making up numbers really) as Mr. hyucktard. In that case, Mr. Hyucktard cannot compete in the market that he's in and will be driven out because no one will buy his over priced produce. Dig?
it is a luxury to have all the computer equipment and stuff on a farm. Have you seen a farm in third world countries? No sophisticated equipment at all yet loads of grain and crop is produced. The efficiency of the farm will definitely be improved by using modern methods, but some people can't afford that... an it isn't essential to ensure the survival of a farm anyway.

I think that the geeks should try to fight the rest of the world to see who gets to dominate the planet - the losers will be systematically hunted down and either taken into slavery or something else not very pleasant

Sheesh, talk about selfish etc. Non geeks have as much right to life as geeks. simple, huh? Geeks wont ever take over because of the machiavellian non-geeks, or the musclemen non geeks. is it necesasry to grasp maths and physics to drive, or to appreciate a tree, or to work in a call centre?
I agree with airavata, but would say, death to the geeks who want to rule the world. The rest of them in their niches can stay.

They should be allowed to live, because who decides who gets to live and who gets to die? What do we do, round them all up into cattle cars and put them into camps, and systematically gas them out in large numbers? Sounds kind of like something else in history I vaguely remember reading about.
No one should be exterminated for who they are, everyone has something to contribute. If you think you are really part of some superior elite, then you're sorely mistaken. Have a little humility.
Besides...somebody has to haul our garbage, pump our gas, etc.

im a geek. im also a sycho anarchy phreak.
i bought this modem w/ cash i got selling nh grenades to local punks.
il be glad to help. stupid people suck. but u gotta admit there good for taking advantage of...
im not a super genius geek. i like computers and programing but i also have many trates of a norm.
but if for no other eson it will further human evoplution.
so whadya say? come on! u rly smart nerds can use your intelect to design the masive amounts of super weapins wel need to destroy the lamers. then we somewhat lower geeks will be glad to help in the construction and use of them. if all eles fails il teach you hi geeks to use sniper rif;les and well pic em off 1 by 1.
btw. i think we need clasifications.
hi geeks- super smart. but not too practical on the battle field. these geeks are good for designing and thinking and stratagizing. sry to offend any1 but there not too good at carying things out tho.
geek- smart. not so smart hes too bussy thinking up formulas to kill some1 tho. good on the battle field but more at camanding the lower geeks.
low geek- above avrage inteligence. can comunicate with other levle geeks, unlike norms, and shares there hatred of sub geeks. yet does not have the super brain the hier onse do. an esential norm-eliminating soldiar. in the new world we will have lower jobs. but were still too good for the agriculture and construction. thats for robots and ensllaved norms.
phreak- not a geek. just hier than a norm. not interested in comps and stuff but still perfectly happt to see the end of the norm erha.
so if any1 is interested in actualy doing this my email is gretinking@yahoo.com. we will descuss the plans and where to attack.
btw the geeks alone cant do it. i hate to say it but most geeks simply arent capable of the kind of carnage that is nesisery. and besides, there just arent enugh geeks int he world to kill of the norms. that why we need the phreaks. there those sychos that arent geeky and super smart but are still above norms. i know many phreaks and iom sur etheyl help! if for no other reson than the opertunity to kill some norms and lamer. lol.

no geeks arent good breeders. its a sad fact.
but hey! were geeeks! we can simple take tisue from the best geeks and genetichaly breed new geeks! and for sex there will be the norm slaves.
and because we want the kids to grow into good geeks like us wel have to make sure they are taght to be. and of course geeks are horrible parents.

the non-geeks will dissapear slowly in time anyway so I think we should speed things up
a true geek can survive anywhere and in almost any conditions - but maybe I have a different definition of a geek , I'm not from the USA or UK so I might have not got the right ideea but a true geek is a person who is capable of logical thought - I call myself a geek although I'm not very good at maths and I have never studied for school more then 2-3 hours/week during the last 4 years. I still have better marks then most classmates even if I get low grades for written homework (I never write my homework)... I am usually very lonely because I have a very personal way of living my life - I do things others think are silly or impossible , or a waste of time :
- I like to skip classes and go rowing on a nearby lake - my friends like to skip classes and do nothing or drink in a nearby bar (even 5 year olds can get alcohoolic drinks around here)
- I'm always building thinks like polistiren boats (I am trying to build a fiberglass canoe now), windmills , remote controlled "thinghies" , I even built the table I'm sitting at right now ...
almost everything I do or say makes people say : "Are you stupid or something" or "Yeah right , you need expensive equipement to do that" ... or "You can't put a jet engine on a bike"(it was actually a homebuilt pulsejet engine)
